Our Mother Moon rises!
In days past we both Alliance and Horde have gathered in peace at Zoram Strand to sit and watch together as Mother Moon raises high into the night’s sky; now my friends we gather together at Karnum's Glade, a wonderous, lush and touched area of the once barren Desolace.
She blesses us as her face shines down on us her children gathered in the pursuit of peace and tranquillity between those who we have often faced in the field of battle.
It is time again for us to come together and walk the way of peace; let us leave behind the weapons of war and gather to revere She who watches over us in the twilight hours of our days upon the surface of this world.
This tradition was started by Shan’do Darinea and continued on by our sister Amiel Nightwhisper.
We shall continue in the spirit of these great Kaldorei who have paved the way of peace amongst us to give us a place and a time to gather and honor our Mother Moon.
Shan’do Darinea said when founding this event these words:
"For long, we have been occupied with the threats from our own lands, as from the lands of
Outland. For too long, many of us have not paid any attention to our spiritual needs.
There are many scars we can not see, which also needs mending."
"Rejoice! Servants of Elune and students of Cenarius offers soothing to your soul. Come to the shores of Zoram and watch the White Lady rise in all Her glory.
Speak to a student or servant if you wish so, or merely watch the rise.
Your faith is irrelevant, just as long as you respect the Kaldorei traditions and laws."
"Come and see the rise, at the last day of the last weekend in the month, according to the human
calendar."
Now I invite you again to join us in carrying on this tradition and partake of the blessings that we have so richly enjoyed in the past.
Let us both Alliance and Horde meet at Karnum's Glade at 9.15 Kalimdorian time on the last Sunday of each month to honor and revere our Mother Moon.
Come in peace and with an open mind as we all watch as we are blessed.

OOC Information:
Moonrise is a monthly event that occurs on the last Sunday of each month; we gather together at 9.15 pm (ish) server time with the Moon rising at approx. 10.00 pm.
We will meet at the campfire with the Night elf on Karnum's Glade.
Moonrise is both a social and spiritual event in saying that I want all other classes to feel welcome to take part as well. I will be around trying to have a word with all that gather (or try too at least).
If you have a prayer request, wish a blessing or have a tale to tell please contact me via in game mail and I will do my best to respond to it in a timely fashion.
Come as you are, but please respect Kaldorei laws and customs.
OOC Rules:
- All classes and races are welcome at the gathering; both Alliance and Horde.
- Warlocks Keep your demons at home, they are not welcome.
- Warlocks and Mages please refrain from using your arcane and fel energies at the gathering. Yes you do have pretty spells, but it is very much against the laws of the Kaldorei to use them publically.
- Keep you PvP tags off, it is a peaceful gathering and we do not wish any hostilities.
- Please keep your weapons either sheathed or in your bags, again this is a peaceful gathering.
- HAVE FUN!
Thanks for your time in reading this and I look forward to seeing you all there.
