Characters name: Ninaste Whitemane
Class: Hunter
Level: 86
Have you read both our IC and OOC guild charters and understood them?
(Yes/No) Yes
How did you hear about the Shadow Sentinels? From long ago I remembered the guildname and quite resontly from Malon
Why do you want to join the Shadow Sentinels?
I have been on Moonglade for at least five years now and love to RP. Ninaste was, I think, one of my first chars and has long been my main, but on a PvP server. I never liked PvP servers but had her on that server. What do you do. Some time ago (a few weeks) I decided to take Ninaste from the PvP server and transfer her to Moonglade because I never played her anymore and, well, missed her I wanted to RP with her.
I joined the Handmaidens with her because I had another char in there too (Rainsong). About two weeks ago I met Malon in Ironforge together with Okhar and we talked about doing events with our two guilds, the Sentinels and the Mithril Guard (I am Finna). She mentioned that if I had a night elf I would be welcome to join the Sentinels. I liked the idea but didn't think I had a night elf left (that time only thinking of Rainsong). Later I remembers Nin who I had just transferred. Nin is a bit of a tougher person and never fitted the priesthood very well, meaning that she needs something more like being able to defend, she needs action. So, seeing the descriptions of the SS, being defenders of the lands and all, I thought Nin fitted in here better and it's more of a practical point too since we can perhaps arrange mixed guild events better now with people who have three chars in three guilds
Wow, long story.
Have you previously belonged to any other guilds?
(Yes/No)
Yes. The Mithril Guard, the Handmaidens of Elune, the Outriders, the Light of Argus, Druids of the Wild, Cathedral of Light, Torchlight Outpost, Vindication, Rhyme and Punishment, The Golden Owl Academy to name a few (several characters ofcourse and some guilds have disbanded).
If yes, why did you leave?
Guilds disbanded unfortunatly. The rest I'm still in on several chars. And one or two I left because the character fitted better in another guild/theme RP wise.
Have you roleplayed before?
(Yes/No)
Oh yes
If yes, what would you say your experience is?
I always loved to RP with friends (live action, though that was more playing) and my first real RP experience online was with Ultima Online. We were a group of humans with beards playing dwarfs We had a RP community and town set up with diety and all. Was great fun. I learned to speak dwarvish there
After that I played Everquest but didn't RP much there because of how the interface was set up. EQ doesn't work with textballoons and RP'ing just in the chatbar wasn't much fun some how. The RP server was also used more for normal playing, except that you could only have one char on that server (Anyone remember Firiona Vie?)
And then WoW came and RP came back. And I'm still RP'ing
What do you feel you can contribute to the guild; what do you expect from us in return?
Always a difficult question this. I hope I can give you RP fun and hope to get it too I dare say I'm a good (at least an experienced) RP'er.
Is this your main character or an alt?
By now I have two mains I think, Finna and Nin.
Usually my main is the one I put time in at that moment but from the beginning on Finna and Nin have been my two main mains.
If this is an alt, how active are you going to be playing this alt?
Very.
Are you dedicated to spending time roleplaying with others in the guild; helping out with tasks, storylines and/or having a relaxed chat?
Ofcourse.
How would you feel if a senior member were to be asked to mentor you as you advance through the ranks of the guild?
Always welcome. IC it's good to learn new things as is OOC.
Do you spend your time roleplaying in or around Kalimdor?
With the chars that belong to that region I try to, yes. Unfortunatly the main things are in SW now but I do try to quest there with the chars that come from those regions. I try to keep my chars "at home" so to speak.
Is there anything special we need to know about your character?
(Don’t give background information here; just something that is unique like blindness, amnesia, deaf, etc…)
Nin is a tough one but friendly. Loyal and protecting. Has a high sense of right/wrong feeling.
Is there anything else you would like to add to your application?
Aye. I've been invited already by Yenlui, we still have to take care of some IC stuff but didn't have the time yet but I thought it would be nice to introduce myself already.
What forum can I place a background story about Nin?
