Characters name: Ayuri Shadowsun
Class: Priestess
Level: 72
Have you read both our IC and OOC guild charters and understood them?
Yes, indeed.
How did you hear about the Shadow Sentinels?
Through Keleria Sharparrow, who also is a friend of mine in real-life.
Why do you want to join the Shadow Sentinels?
From what I've gathered so far (from reading through several pages on this forum), this guild seems to be the next step in my character's own development. It would certainly be an interesting prospect and from what I've heard, you're very dedicated to your roleplaying, which appeals to me greatly. It would certainly cause me to play more often.
Have you previously belonged to any other guilds?
Plenty, but none on this character that I can recall.
If yes, why did you leave?
Most of the guilds I've been in, has either died or fallen apart through internal conflict. Others, such as the guild 'Psychedelic' on Defias Brotherhood's Horde side, I left because I couldn't deal with the amount of stupidity and utter ignorance of its members.
Have you roleplayed before?
Yes.
If yes, what would you say your experience is?
I have about 5 years worth of roleplaying experience in total. World of Warcraft, as well as pen-and-paper roleplaying games and paragraph roleplaying via chat such as Skype.
What do you feel you can contribute to the guild; what do you expect from us in return?
I offer a new voice, namely Ayuri. I'd be very glad to join in on as much roleplay as possible, since I've been away from Moonglade and Ayuri herself for far too long. What I expect in return, is plenty of roleplay and getting help in developing my character in this direction.
Is this your main character or an alt?
Alt, sadly.
If this is an alt, how active are you going to be playing this alt?
Considering the recent changes in my schedule, I'll hopefully be online at least a couple of hours, minimum of three times a week.
Are you dedicated to spending time roleplaying with others in the guild; helping out with tasks, storylines and/or having a relaxed chat?
I'm a rather dedicated roleplayer. Or at least, I were. I'd very much like to get back into that. On the other notes, I'd very much like to help out whenever, and wherever, I can.
How would you feel if a senior member were to be asked to mentor you as you advance through the ranks of the guild?
In-character, I think Ayuri would be hesitant to be mentored, but I'd be happy to!
Do you spend your time roleplaying in or around Kalimdor?
A little bit of everywhere, actually, but mostly centered in or around Stormwind.
Is there anything special we need to know about your character?
The only thing that really stands out is Ayuri having amethyst eyes. She used to be possessed by a Quel'dorei mage's spirit - which is gone now - the long standing effects of this happen to be her eyes.
Is there anything else you would like to add to your application?
I'm writing this application... *puts on sunglasses* Like a baws!
