Characters name: Avanelle Skye
Class: Druid
Level: 80
Have you read both our IC and OOC guild charters and understood them?
Yes, I have.
How did you hear about the Shadow Sentinels?
I’ve been roleplaying on Moonglade since vanilla Wow, so I’ve simply just seen you about.
Why do you want to join the Shadow Sentinels?
I want to explore the more elven side of roleplay, with a serious guild, and this guild seems to be what I’m after. I also had a lot of fun roleplaying with an alt of Alrinthiel/Suzei, and figured that if you’ lot are anything like that, then you’re lovely. And went to Moon’s rising event tonight again, which was very nice.
Have you previously belonged to any other guilds?
Not on this character no, but one of my 85’s is in Rhyme and Punishment , and has been for a few years. The guild Avanelle is in right now is just a bank, which I’ll pass over to an alt.
Have you roleplayed before?
Yes, have been doing so on Moonglade since vanilla.
If yes, what would you say your experience is?
I’ve played mainly humans (only occasionally doting on an elf or two), so my experience with elves isn’t very in-depth. But I know elven lore just fine, and roleplay whenever I get the chance.
What do you feel you can contribute to the guild; what do you expect from us in return?
I hope to be someone you’ll enjoy roleplaying with. I’d love to help out in any way I can, but with any plots and pve-related things, but I’m mainly here because I want Avanelle to get to know some more people.
Is this your main character or an alt?
Avanelle is an alt (althought I don’t like marking any of my characters as an alt), but I have an itch to play her more often, hence why I want a Kaldorei guild that she can grow in.
If this is an alt, how active are you going to be playing this alt?
It doesn’t make sense for me personally to define anyone as an alt or main, as I have a whole bunch of high-level characters that I play on. Like I said, I’d like to play her more often, and know that I would if she had some more IC connections, and I had somewhere to turn to OOC.
Are you dedicated to spending time roleplaying with others in the guild; helping out with tasks, storylines and/or having a relaxed chat?
Absolutely, it’s what I’m here for! I’m more of a roleplay-when-it-happens kinda person, rather than someone who makes long complicated plots, but I’ll gladly help with and play along with plots/events etc.
How would you feel if a senior member were to be asked to mentor you as you advance through the ranks of the guild?
That’s probably a very good idea, both for me ooc, as I’m not very experienced with elven rp and don’t quite know where to start, as well as for Ava, who’s always been hanging around mainly druids. It’d be good for her to have someone within the guild she can turn to, as she would most likely feel a bit shy to begin with.
Do you spend your time roleplaying in or around Kalimdor?
By habit of having been mainly human, no, not much. But as an elf, I will. I know the areas fine though, but might need to pester y’all with questions about certain areas or lore.
Is there anything special we need to know about your character?
No, nothing special. She’s rather old, and very patient. A bit low-key at first perhaps, but can get a bit cheeky and has a glimpse in her eyes once she feels relaxed.
Is there anything else you would like to add to your application?
OOC: 27 year old girl.
If you have any questions, ask away, and if you feel I might fit in, I’ll try and poke someone for an interview or try some roleplaying, or you can poke me.
Ahoy!
...Also, seems I wasn’t skilled enough to register my name starting with a capital letter. Sowwy.
