Character's name: Shaal Duskmane.
Class: Warrior.
Level: 85.
Have you read both our IC and OOC guild charters and understood them?
Yes, I understood both the IC and OOC guild charters.
How did you hear about the Shadow Sentinels?
I have been roleplaying on Moonglade since 2005 and I have always picked up on the Shadow Sentinels - my other character is within the Clan of the Risen Sun and I heard much about the Sentinels through the guild. I have been roleplaying as a night elf for a while now, although I recently faction-changed (Shaal) to help stimulate tauren roleplay within the Clan of the Risen Sun (on a character named Korrum), although my other character took over with that, now I'm back on Shaal once more.
Why do you want to join the Shadow Sentinels?
I have never been within a kaldorei-based guild before and I am very eager to do so. I have been within a tauren-only guild before known as the Clan of the Risen Sun and I enjoyed every aspect of it. My two favourite races are tauren and night elves so this would be ideal for my character.
Have you previously belonged to any other guilds?
Yes.
If yes, why did you leave?
I was in the Quill and Broken Bottles guild before, although I had exams so I had to take a leave of absence - I then faction-changed my character, so I left the guild.
I've also been within the Clan of the Risen Sun, the Stormwind Militia, the Stormwind City Guard, Goldshire Guard (very early days), the Fifth Legion, and many more!
(My characters consist of Malsam, Shaal, Reddek, Korrum and Tulasai).
Have you roleplayed before?
Yes!
If yes, what would you say your experience is?
I have a very high experience of roleplay as I have been roleplaying on World of Warcraft since 2005. I also occassionally roleplay on a game called Garry's Mod, which is a Half-Life 2 modification (I sometimes roleplay on a server named Taco N' Banana which is strictly heavy roleplay).
I've had a lot of Warcraft roleplay experience and I am very enthusiastic towards the Warcraft lore.
What do you feel you can contribute to the guild; what do you expect from us in return?
I feel that I can contribute the Shadow Sentinels with a very strong character, with an interesting background and style.
Is this your main character or an alt?
My main character.
Are you dedicated to spending time roleplaying with others in the guild; helping out with tasks, storylines and/or having a relaxed chat?
Of course, that is why I want to join the guild.
How would you feel if a senior member were to be asked to mentor you as you advance through the ranks of the guild?
I would feel honoured.
Do you spend your time roleplaying in or around Kalimdor?
I roleplay within Darnassus and Ashenvale around three nights a week, sometimes not as much but I tend to stay in Kalimdor.
Is there anything special we need to know about your character?
(Don’t give background information here; just something that is unique like blindness, amnesia, deaf, etc…)
Nothing unusual.
Is there anything else you would like to add to your application?
You guys probably know that I've been interested in the guild for a very long time now so I just hope you enjoy reviewing my application!
Thank you,
Josh.
