Sadly i don't mix in well on the Moon's Rise Event, should like to participate more actively but that would be a bit out of character.. Especially since I always get this ..primal urge to go on a rampage and kill every damn Bloodelf/Forsaken/Troll/Orc/fair share of the humans/The GNOMES! ALL OF THEM! .. ahem.. got a bit out of controll there ;D But I can always entertain myself by standing around and look frosty and condesending at everyone else.. or fill lana up with booze.. that is always interesting ;D

ALL OF THEM! .. ahem.. got a bit out of controll there ;D But I can always entertain myself by standing around and look frosty and condesending at everyone else.. or fill lana up with booze.. that is always interesting ;D Interesting. Can certainly connect to this. Its the reason why mainly my characters avoid Eastern Kingdoms. I did mentioned mistrusts in previous post under "Night Elf community". Well its hard to overcome such things, but one can always try to make slight changes. So for example and for this reasons I made Elemm a bard, a poet, so she now has an excuse of going to Eastern continent in search of poems or something like that. And as I also mentioned, a few years have past since Kalimdor was rediscovered from Easter Kingdom people and well also orcs have come from Draenor/Outland. Mist surrounding Hyal/Ashevale has disappeared, so Kaldorei society isn't seclusive any more but rather exposed to constant flow of strangers, even those evil ones (warlock, high elfs which were expelled, even worse, who become blood elfs using fel(!). But people change, even races my change. If you think of it, destruction of World Tree should have a profoundly deep effect/impact on all Kaldorei. Loosing relative immortality changed many Kaldorei individuals and so should mentioned constant flow of other races/strangers. What I am trying to suggest is that just perhaps and also under influence of other members of the pack Yenlui my get realize that not all those strangers are worth her absolute rage which causes her to go rampaging. Of course its just a suggestion, a hint.

The "constant flow of strangers" that is possible in the game is severely exaggerated and unrealistic. You can pop from continent to continent in a matter of seconds and cross an entire zone in less than five minutes, when in the "real world Azeroth" both would take weeks and months. Travel would also be a lot more dangerous. I don't think too many people would want to risk travelling to Kalimdor, a few adventure-minded people, do-gooders and emissaries aside. The Kaldorei are not overly hospitable, and there is enough trouble "back at home" in the east to keep the various power groups busy. Lastly, for most people it would likely be a very freaky experience. Kalimdor is a lot wilder than the east and so are its people. The crazy longears live with all sorts of huge predators as if they were family! And with walking trees even! They talk to them. They act as if these monsters talk back. Some of them can even turn into those beasts. They sleep by day and run around by night when any decent person sleeps. They have all sorts of fey customs, and Light help you, if you break one of them by accident you may find yourself turned into a pincushion of arrows before you even knew you did something wrong. Or those monster cats will bite you in half. Or the monster trees will squish you like a bug. If you're a blood elf, demon-slave or a walking corpse, if you're a mage dumb enough to work your foul powers in front of the elves or go near a moonwell, if you chop down trees or kill animals without need or respect and leave the carcass to rot after taking only a choice piece of meat -- then you will be turned into a pincushion, bitten in half or squished like a bug. Without hesitation or remorse. That is part of the Kaldorei appeal. Now Elune is a goddess of peace and healing and that tempers the Kaldorei a bit (more than a bit, for some), but I think holding these kinds of open gatherings is a huge step forward out of the "unwelcoming isolationism". It's definitely understandable if some elves aren't comfortable with it.

Admitting I may have overdid it with "constant flow of strangers" thinking too much through the eyes of in-game participant. But that doesn't stop me wonder how all those background story's of our characters fit together. Maybe its wrong interpretation from my part, tho in the end there are many loose ends about it all. For example, if I remember correctly even Feralan had some dealings with Scourge through Argent Dawn. Does that mean that she actually visited Eastern Kingdoms and was in Plagueland? Of course thats not isolated example. Many of Shadow Sentinels did travel across Maelstrom and made some exploration on other continent one time or another (happen to remember some IC dealings with Ragnaros). What I am trying to say here, that all our story's don't exactly add up, making many loose ends which are still exploitable. But I have to say with this last message you did a wonderful new insight about how one should look upon a continent of Kalimdor and how then properly include orcs new capital Orgimmar and of course even Theramor isle further down south, especially in the light that Shadow Sentinels actually visited Silithus. Tho that could be explained in a sense of going down by Kalimdors west coast, past Stonetalon, Desolace, Feralas (making stop by they cousins on Fethermoon isle) and further down south all the way to AQ. In that regard anything connected to Kalimdors Eastern coast, especially from Ogrimm and Theramor may still be a subject of exploration and some fun RP, except if someone is already doing a story in that part, which I am unaware of.
Sincerely Ardhel
P.s. Hmm, yeah, maybe this surpasses threads actual subject and should be moved to a new thread, but as it is reply... P.p.s. My major point in this post is in fact integrity of the lore, especialy Shadow Sentinels part and well, possible new storylines

Hi all just posting a Poem i wrote might want to use it some time at the event:
I Become Her
The shadow of all doubt in this world Is now alight with the moons beautiful shine A bright full dark and perfect circle Of immaculate symmetry
How shall I link a light cast paradise? When all that I have is just flesh and bone I cannot touch or feel her I’m held back by the evil mortality
Each day I look at her graceful purity Bringing tears to my eyes Running down my face like rain on a mountain I’m waiting for her to rise again
She is the white mother of creation I am but a child to her She now has to rest again So I must become what I have loved.

I flooded on the realm and community forums about Moon's Rise so... why not here as well. Even without forum advertising we managed to gather over 50 people on the shores of Zoram. Thanks for everyone for coming. Next month we will be gathering 28.9. at 9:15 PM realm time, naturally at Zoram Strand. Oh, and about the conversation that has taken place here. You don't have to come to Moon's Rise. You can keep our normal guild meeting somewhere else. Even as I am one of the Sentinels, the event is mine (Mine! I tell you!) and not Sentinels'. So no one is forcing you to come here. If you want perhaps another event where to worship Elune with only kaldorei or perhaps only with Sentinels, there are still days left in the month. And the Temple is a great place for such gatherings, eh? Here are some screenies from August's Moon's Rise: (Oh, you can get find larger images by clicking the thumbnails.)See you 28.9!

I've advertised on the Realm- and Community Forums... after four months of silence.
Let's see if that gets more people interested.
Oh, the date is February 22nd. On Zoram Strand, Ashenvale... at 9:15 PM realm time.
